It’s been a busy and interesting week here, so far. I (somewhat) impulsively changed my domain yesterday to Artful Analog. I say impulsively, but really I’ve been wanting to change the blog name for quite some time! It seemed to be a daunting task to think about, so I was very much putting it off. (If you use the old name, anartfulmom.com, though, you’ll still arrive here!)
I have had this site, as An Artful Mom, since 2011 (and it’s still hard for me to believe that so much time has gone by.) My kids were teenagers then. As time went on and my blog began to reflect more of my calligraphy, lettering, journaling, etc. (in short, my analog passions), my blog name didn’t seem to really fit anymore. And, for quite a while now, I’ve been more of an artful grandmom age!
So, the last couple of days I’ve been changing things over to the new name, and it’s still a work in progress. There will be a few more appearance changes to the site, but I’m trying to keep it familiar, while also different enough to reflect the new name.
Change is hard! But often very good. And, I’m excited about the new name and look. And, if you forget the new name, just type in anartfulmom.com and you’ll still arrive here. And, as always, thank you so much for being here.
