I’ll be attending a pen show here in St. Louis on Friday. I know some of you are saying, “Wait, there’s a show about…pens?” Basically a pen show is kind of like a trade show, pen collectors hang-out, and hobby convention for fountain pen lovers, all in one. You can try out pens, and spend time with other fountain pen fanatics.

There are lots of fountain pen vendors, ink vendors, vintage pen sellers, etc., as well as classes (vintage pen buying, calligraphy, etc.) It will be my second one. Last year I was kind of a newbie fountain pen fanatic (although I’d had fountain pens for a while), so this year I’m really excited because I know more about what to expect and what kinds of vendors will be there. I’m looking forward to it!
